Cute Update from Island Realty Photo Contest Entrant

Super Fletcher stikes again!
Last summer my 4 year old son, Fletcher, was a super hero every day. That red cape was a constant - he even wore it into the ocean! I snapped this photo of him practicing his super hero jumps on the beach during the Waldvogel family beach trip. It was taken early in the morning; it was a little overcast and very windy. Perfect weather for Fletcher to run and practice his super hero jumps on the beach. With the wind in his cape, he really felt like he was flying - and the photo makes it look like he really was!

I entered the photo into a contest by Island Realty - they were searching for the best Isle of Palms beach photo and the winner received a week long beach rental. Cool, no? Unfortunately, I didn’t win. But they contacted me yesterday to say that I was a runner-up and they would like to publish the photo in their Island Guide.
