We asked the staff here at Island Realty to share with us some of their favorite things to do here in Charleston. Here are just a few of them…

Taking a day trip to Cypress Gardens …great for the kids, cocktails on the upper deck of the boathouse with the complimentary dolphin watching and concerts at the Wind Jammer! Shawn, Owner Representative Department
Walking the new the bridge, kayaking behind the Isle of Palms and walking on the beach at night to enjoy the stars and ocean! Sometimes with a full moon you can find shells! Bonne, Owner Representative Department
We love walking the Ravenel Bridge and look forward to the opening of the new Mount Pleasant Memorial Park later this year. Jeanne, Long Term Department
Riding on the boat all day long from morning to night, taking a nap in the hammock on warm days, walking to the beach and meeting new people every chance I get, fishing with my roommate and his dog, docking the boat on a deserted beach and going for a swim and looking for crazy shells and other things on the beach early in the morning before anyone else has found them!
Amber, Guest Services Department
Walking the Old Pitt Street Bridge, going to Breach Inlet at sunrise with coffee and a book and watching the dolphins feed. Love attending the numerous festivals the Charleston area offers throughout the year. Tabi, Marketing Department
Shopping at the market, boating in the harbor at sunset and walking the beach. Rose, Property Services Department
Taking a trip to Charles Towne Landing, it’s also one of my favorite childhood memories, going downtown to the waterfront and shopping at the market, going to Vickery’s on Shem Creek for happy hour cocktails and fishing during the summer. Alyssa, Guest Services Department
Walking and shopping on King St. on nice days any time of year, cocktails on Shem Creek at sunset, going to the beach during the summer with friends, oyster roasts and sitting on my porch and having cocktails with the girls! Whitney, Marketing Department
Listening to the sound of reggae music on the deck at Coconut Joe’s as the sun goes down, shopping at the market, watching the dolphins and boats on Shem Creek on Sunday afternoons, going Parasailing of the Isle of Palms (Of course I haven’t done it but always wanted to), having Dinner at Morgan Creek Grill as the sun is setting and the boats are sailing by, watching the Stingrays play Hockey and singing along with Tony the Peanut man at the RiverDogs Games! Sheryl, Owner Representative Department
Eating fresh seafood, walking on the beach with my golden retrievers, hiking the Palmetto Trail through the Francis Marion Forest, reading about and exploring the historic sites in Charleston, running on the beach, boating and inshore/off shore fishing. Sandy, Owner
